Grace Kolhepp, age 96, passed away at home with her family by her side on 18 January 2025. Grace was born in Rome, New York in May 1928 to parents Giuseppe (Joseph) and Assunta Butch. She was married to Robert, her loving husband for 77 years.
Grace loved taking her daily walks and working in her garden. She was a parishioner of Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, where she volunteered at the Soup Kitchen, and assisted with the senior luncheons and annual festival. Mom spent many hours poured over the dining room table working on her jigsaw puzzles. She was the Matriarch of the family and seemed to hold the family together. She will be missed greatly by her family and all who knew her.
Grace is survived by her husband Robert and 5 children, Susan (Pugh), Patricia Kolhepp, Kathy (Charney), James Kolhepp, and Lynn Kolhepp. She had 3 grandchildren, Kelley, Nicholas and Christopher and 6 great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Christian, Claire, Jameson, Cora and Rowen.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, brother Louie, stepsisters Helen and Mary, and stepbrother Carl.
Grace was laid to rest on 24 January 2025 at Riverton Cemetery where a small gathering of family attended to say goodbye and wish her well on her next journey.
