Felicia was a self proclaimed continuous learner of life and took pride in \"enjoying every last ounce of every day\". Felicia was a stay at home mother (a Domestic Diva) with 4 fabulous kids. She loved being a mother and made sure she was part of her children\s school lives by volunteering for classroom activities and field trips. What Felicia cherished most in life was spending time with her family. She was a rock star in the kitchen. She was a Brownie leader, and in her youth was active in the Girl Scouts. Felicia had a flair for decorating and design. She loved shopping and had a talent for finding great deals! She loved travel and in the last two years visited; Hawaii, California, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Mexico, Las Vegas, Chicago (several times) and always made it back to her beloved state of Michigan.
She touched many lives and left her impression on many souls. Her positive attitude and caring spirit will long be remembered by those that knew her.
Felicia was a member of the City Church and was active with the Summer in the City events. She also taughtSundayschool and was a natural caring teacher.
She was a participant and staff member for Casting for Recovery and through that affiliation learned to love fly fishing. She was an active member and board member of the Draper Mom\s Club. Through that club, she developed multitude of relationships. This was the foundation that fostered hundreds of friendships which helped her find true happiness living in Utah.
Felicia is survived by her husband Scott, her children: Scott Jr., Samantha (Sam), Sydnee and Spencer. Her father, Craig Wood, sister Shanna Ross (Darin), brother Dustin Wood (Sarah) and her grandmother Donna Wood and Beverly Becker. She is loved and adored by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Wood and grandfathers Richard Wood and Ron Ralston.
A memorial service is being hosted by Mountain View Christian Assembly 300 E. 8000 S. Sandy, UT 84070 onFriday, September 26, 2014 at 6:30pm.
A Michigan Memorial Celebration will be held onThursday, October 2, 2014at the Eagle Park Hall in Eagle, Michigan at4:00 PM. The family requests that guests come in \comfy casual\ attire. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the children\s education fund. Donations may be sent to Chase Bank to the account of Scott Becker account number3035484124.
