Our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Yoshiko "Yusie" Nakagama peacefully passed away at home on March 21, 2018 with her devoted son at her side. She was born in Delta, Utah, on May 31, 1922 as the oldest of 8 children and devoted her life to her family. She passionately dove into whatever was in front of her: dedicating 25 years at Litton GCS, traveling the world with friends, avidly supporting the Utah Utes, and always being a loving mother and grandmother. Her true pride and joy was her great-grandchildren, who never failed to put a smile on her face. She is reunited in death with her husband, Kenji "Kay" Nakagama; and survived by her children: Howard, Janice Hutchison (Brandt), Alan (Sharon), and Shauna (Kelly Perkins); grandchildren Christopher (Ashley), Nicholas, and Kelli; and four great-grandchildren. Her feisty, yet infinitely friendly personality and her contagious laugh will forever be missed. Graveside services will be held at Salt Lake City Cemetery (11th Ave) onMonday, April 2 at 11:30 a.m.
