Asher Omni Wells

2008 ~ 2017

Asher "Scratch" "Ashman" \"Buddy Boy\" Omni Wells, 8 years old, of Sandy Utah was the perfect blend of dad's farm and mom's city. He was the young expert in reversing a four-wheeler, whittling, camping, and even caught more fish than his dad on one of their fishing trips. When he wasn't busy in adventures with dad, he was in crazy antics with his other best-buddy, mom. The both of them would dance in the kitchen, make silly faces, and non-stop run around together. Taking care of Sarah was a responsibility he loved to take on. He held her hand and guided her through life as her mentor.

Asher loved school. His friends and teachers were so important to him. When surprised with a trip to Disneyland instead of school, his response was "Mom, what do you want to do?". He and his best friend, Jones, were inseparable, having adventures every day. They could easily persuade his dad, Randy, to drop everything to help them build a vegetable stand to sell veggies to earn money for Pokemon cards, to backyard obstacle courses and archery ranges, and installing swings in the house. He truly loved being surrounded by his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and countless friends. The joy that his family brought him was endless. He also saw his ward members as family. It didn't matter what age, from the young to the elderly, he loved to spend time with them.

Jesus was his best friend and Asher loved to say prayers. He reflected his parents love for the gospel, where he learned at his father's feet. He was the assistant-bishop, and will continue to be so. He is joined in death with his father, Randy and sister, Sarah. Asher is survived by mother Kristin and his unborn baby sister, Grandparents Marion and Shauna Wells, Uncles Brad (Katie) Wells and Scott (Lindsay) Wells, Aunts Heidi (Darren) Stewart, Alena (Andrew) Johnson, Rebecca (Daniel) Ugalde, and Melissa (Cory) Thellmann, Grandmother Bettyanne (Kent) Bruin, Grandfather John (Debbie) Gillette, Uncles Jonathan (Kylie) Gillette and Daniel (Madison) Gillette, Aunts Malia Gillette, Genevieve Gillette, Hilary (Derek) Cavanaugh, and Kelsy (George) Williamson along with many cousins on both sides.
