Jane W. Timothy

1940 ~ 2017

Jane W. Timothy passed away on Thursday November 2, 2017 in West Jordan, Utah. She was born March 6, 1940 in Murray, Utah to Lyle Douglas and Eloise Dowding Webster.

A wonderful woman who loved all she encountered unconditionally. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She touched lives of so many through her humanitarian (self- proclaimed mission) where she made thousands of school bags, which helped many scouts earn their Eagle. She also made many baby blankets that were donated to the NICU at the U of U.

She loved to crochet, sew and do embroidery work. She loved eating "Froo Froos" (McDonald parfait), cooking, spending time with her family and eating. She loved making her grandchildren quilts where her love was and will forever be felt in every stitch and tie.

She worked as a Lunch Manager in the Jordan School District for 17 years. She made many friends and served delicious food to the children and staff.

With all the physical challenges that Jane experienced in her life, she always had a smile on her face. She was example to us all.

Survived by sons Douglas (Pat), Eric (Joanna), Calvin (Shauna), Daughter in law Shelly Kemp (Roger), 9 grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren. Brother Lee (Jeanette) sisters-in-law Vicki and Lois, sisters Donna Jones, Dorothy and Mary Webster, and special nieces Amberlynne and Sonia.

Preceded in death by parents, son JT (Jan) brothers Jack, Bob and Jerry, sisters-in-law Beth, Ila and brother-in-law Verl Jones.

A special thanks to the many caregivers that loved Jane as their own family- South Jordan 3rd Ward Relief Society sisters who have rubbed her legs for many years giving her relief from the pain. Copper Ridge staff who have cared for her the last 4 years and to Brighton Hospice for her final day. Thanks for making her last hours so comfortable and taking care of our family.

Funeral services will be held November 11, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the LDS Church located at 2550 West 9800 South (church is east of Jordan Ridge Elementary). Viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

She is now dancing through the meadow of lilacs in her cowboy boots.
