Lori Alice Kumar

1958 ~ 2020

Our loving mother, grandma, sister, and friend passed away peacefully March 16, 2020, finally free from her 6-month battle with brain cancer.

Lori was born September 18, 1958, to Urcle Clark and Frances Peabody Campbell in Hot Springs, MT. She leaves behind three children but is now reunited with her daughter. Lori was an amazing and loving mother and grandma. Her family meant everything to her, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with and serving them. She was an extremely hard worker and incredibly talented at many things including wreath making, cooking, and candy making during the holiday season (the best fudge around).

Lori had many different roles and callings throughout her life, but the one she treasured the most was that of mother and grandma. She had the biggest heart and was always willing to serve anyone in need. She had a special place in her heart for animals and loved them greatly. She loved visiting Montana and being in the quiet serenity of nature, she taught all of us how to fish and love the outdoors as much as she did.

Lori is survived by her 3 children Christie Dimond (Chris), Shalayna Raso (Tyler), and Phillip Jr. (Beka); along with her precious grandchildren Austyn and Baylie Dimond, Hudson and Jaxon Raso and Hazlyn and Baby boy Kumar (due in July). She is also survived by her siblings Tim, Gary, Cheree, Jeff, Suzan and Dan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Urcle and Frances Campbell; brothers Urcle Jr., and Monty Campbell; and daughter Shabonna.

Due to current health regulations, please contact the family on the viewing and graveside services. Interment will take place at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy, UT.

We also express our gratitude to all the staff at Sunridge Assisted Living in Layton and CNS Nursing and Hospice for their loving care they provided to our mom during this difficult time. We will be forever grateful for all of you.
