Heidi Jo “Heidi Ho” Hansen, our loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on January 7, 2022 in Murray, Utah surrounded by her family. She was born on November 2, 1967, in Sandy, Utah to Russell James and LaVon Duke Hansen.

Heidi was the most beautiful of souls. She welcomed everyone with open arms and a loving heart. She was loved and adored by all who met her. Heidi’s sense of humor and beautiful smile were contagious. She always gave selflessly and was a caregiver to all.

She enjoyed being in the mountains camping and fishing while spending time with her family and friends. Come football season, we all knew where she would be, with Gilbert in hand, cheering on her Denver Broncos.

Heidi’s favorite role in life was being a mother to her daughter Jamee. She loved and adored her with all her heart. Heidi leaves behind an abundance of wonderful memories and love. She will be missed immensely by all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, LaVon Hansen, daughter Jamee Meadows, sisters Jackie Porter, Cindy Wilson, Sheri Hansen, Teri Cederholm and Penny Poulson as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Russell James Hansen and her grandparents.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the services.

This is not goodbye. It is we will see you later. To quote Heidi, “one day at a time, be safe, toodles”.

I'm so sorry to hear that Heidi has passed. She always had a smile on her face, and a good word to say about any situation. 'Her glass was half full'. Never half empty. She will be severely missed.

I will miss you Heidi, I will always remember the times in the Pinto, the fun of the reunion and the “sleep outs” on the back yard. You wore your heart on your sleeve and you always greeted everyone with that big, beautiful smile. Catch a big one up there. My love and huge hugs to all the Hansen girls and especially to Aunt LaVon. Love you all!
