1937 ~ 2025
Helen Bailey was born on February 14,1937 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania to James Walter Bailey and Gladys Grace Carr Bailey. She passed through the veil on November 13, 2025 to meet family and loved ones.
Helen had great sense of humor and tried to find humor in all things. She had a great laugh and everyone will miss it.
Helen had a great love of animals and would have adopted them all if she could.
Helen had a talent for baking bread and has a 1st place ribbon from the New Mexico State Fair for her beloved Swiss bread recipe. She was able to pass on this talent to her children and grandchildren. She loved music and loved to sing with her music. Even though she could not read or play music she liked to say she could play the radio or CD player. She was an artist at heart. She loved color and creating things. She could draw, paint, and quilt. Her passion was quilting and was always looking for fabric for her next project. She loved the color purple and always tried to work it into each quilt that she made.
Helen didn’t know a stranger; there were only new friends that were yet to be made and loved.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents and both ex-husbands. She is survived by her 3 adult children: Carlyn (Clark) Campbell, Alison Clark, and Timothy Clark(Wendy); her 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister Nancy (Bailey) Garni; a nephew and a niece.
A Funeral Service will be held for December 6, 2025 at noon a 5623 Mirabella Dr., Herriman, Utah, 84096.
To Helen, my dear and talented sister: I love you and will miss you everyday. We had some wonderful laughs and were close of heart. The conversations we shared will remain forever in my heart. I know you suffered greatly, but most of the time were resigned to the Will of God. May the angels come to meet you and take you to the heavenly paradise; there to receive your heavenly crown. 👑 I thank God that we are sisters, and remember well, growing up and playing cars on the patterned carpet, while Mom was in the kitchen and Dad reading the paper in the living room ~ the times I visited you in Virginia when all the kids were growing up and the good times we had. I thank you for all the telephone conversations where you taught me to quilt! Being a “lefty” sometimes made it hard to convey those instructions for both of us, but we laughed our way through it. I will always love you and so greatly miss you. May the Divine Assistance remain always with us, and may the souls of the faithful, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. Love, your little sister, Nance. XXXXXOOOO
