Our dear brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend passed peacefully from this earth on Monday, February 27, at 7:00 PM, surrounded by his family. Henry’s sweet spirit impacted numerous lives and he was loved by everyone he met. He leaves his wives, 29 children, 117 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren as well as many siblings and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his son John and two infant daughters. Henry was talented in many areas, being a great builder, a professional painter and paper hanger and generally good at everything he attempted. He adored camping and spent many weekends camping at Smith and Morehouse with his family.
Henry was the ultimate family man and had desired a large family since he was a boy. But his greatest love was for the gospel of Jesus Christ, which he lived to the fullest extent. His most memorable talent was his ability to make everyone he met feel valued. He truly lived the first great commandment to love the Lord thy God with all thy might, mind and strength – and the second, to love thy neighbor as thyself.
Well old friend, I'd say rest in peace, but knowing you, you'll soon be laboring hard,
advocating for your posterity and preparing a place for them. Calene and I send our love, peace, and comfort to your family, they'll surely miss you.
Our Condolences to Henry's family... May God Bless you all in this time. Always a worker, I'm sure My Friend will be busy in his new calling. Best always...
