Elaine Alice Walker Limb

1923 ~ 2015

I was born February 17, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Percy Parker Walker and Alice Mercy Ridd Walker. I had two wonderful brothers, Ralph (Donna) and Robert (Pat). I married the love of my life, Byron, in 1946 in Salt Lake City and celebrated 62 years together. He was the most wonderful man anyone could have ever asked for.

I would like to thank my wonderful family for all the laughs and loving memories. My children Sharon Hughes, Steve Limb (Melanee), Robbyn Dunn (Steve), Catherine Noyes (Dirk), Bryce Limb (Becky) and my wonderful grandchildren (14) and great grandchildren (10). We had many dear friends over the years and have many memories of trips with my husband and family, time with grand kids in the backyard swimming pool, time at Strawberry Reservoir and midnight trips. Life was indeed wonderful. I was very lucky and indeed happy. I want to thank my family for their care and thoughtfulness, and Steve and Melanee for taking me into their home and their loving care.

As her family we remember Mom for her style, grace, optimism, and stubborn nature. We are grateful that she passed these traits off to each of us. She was always caring and always wanted what was best for all of us and our children.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery (2350 E 1300 S). The family will meet with friends Friday, May 15, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Funeral Home and again Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 AM prior to services.

We would like to thank Inspiration Hospice, and especially Natalie Evans, for making our loving mothers last week's comfortable. We would also like to thank everyone at Garden Terrace and Highland Cove for all their caring and attention they gave her.
