Holly Wright

1970 ~ 2022

Obituary Photo for Holly Wright < >

Holly Wright, age 52, but always 29, was born in Redlands California on 11/9/1970. She was called home to her Heavenly Father on 11/28/2022.

On January 9, 1999, Holly married the love of her life, Troy Wright. Troy and Holly had the best adventures. The trip they took to Arizona when they first started to date will forever be one of their favorites and remembered fondly. The first time they held hands they both said the familiarity of it felt like they had finally found a long-lost friend. Together they raised awesome kids and continued having adventures with them.

Holly loved to spend time with her family, they enjoyed frequent camping trips to Bryce Canyon during the 4th of July, provided there was an air mattress for one night and a stay in the Hotel the other nights. She enjoyed hiking, the fireworks and the cowboy diner for the ‘all you can eat’ buffet, and milk shakes.

In her professional life she worked very hard and was very dedicated. She chose a variety of occupations to keep herself interested. She was a CNA, graduated from Broadview University with a paralegal degree and at one point she was a phlebotomist and joked that she was a vampire. She had the most clever and witty sense of humor. Her humorous stories and jokes will be sorely missed.

She especially loved all the family dogs in her life and dressing them up in costumes, giving them treats, and letting them snuggle with her at all hours of the day. Holly especially loved the frequent trips to Roxberry for a peanut butter smoothie to share with Pancake and Tara.

Although she loved her dogs, her children in her life came first. She was always there for every event. She made every birthday special by making customized cakes and creative party themes for her children. As a mom, Holly was always a source of comfort, a warm hug and encouraging word and did anything she needed to for her kids.

Holly is survived by her Husband Troy Wright; children Randi Mecham, Shaylee Taylor (John), Michael Wright and Rebecca Wright.

She is preceded in death by Abigail and Cassie (you guessed it, her sweet puppies)
