Jeaniene Sanone beloved sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away July 29, 2014. She was born on February 7, 1945 to Thomas Anthony Sanone and Delta Huntsman Sanone. Jeaniene grew up in Salt Lake City, graduated from South High School, (Go Cubs), and worked many years in the classified ad department of the Newspaper Agency. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and served faithfully in many callings.
Jeaniene will be remembered as a person who lived life with boundless love for family and friends. She will also be remembered for her great faith, beautiful singing voice, and amazing personality (witty and fun). She was loved by all who knew her, and will be truly missed.
Jeanine was blessed to have many loving people in her life, but none more important and cherished than her life long friend, Jackie Nicholl. Jackie and her family, Gordon, Jason, and Kristi Nicholl Durrant stood by her side through the years, loving her, and making sure all her needs were met. Our family would also like to thank her guardian, Shelley Dettmann, Elder Care, who has taken loving care of Jeaniene for the past 8 years. Shelley was not only a great friend, but Jeaniene considered her family. Also, a special thanks to Hillside Care Center, and the wonderful caregivers, for their loving and compassionate care.
Jeaniene is survived by her brother, Tom Sanone, niece Trinity Sanone Winn (Douglas), cousins, and many loving friends. Preceded in death by her parents.
A viewing will be held at Larkin Mortuary Saturday, August 2nd, 10:00-11:00 a.m., with funeral services immediately following the viewing. Larkin Mortuary is located at 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment will take place at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
