Marilyn Linda Bullett

1942 ~ 2016

Marilyn Linda Bullett, loving wife (Sweetie), mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016. She fought an amazingly strong battle with cancer for the past two years.

She was born on August 29th, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul and Angie Astorga. She married her eternal love Michael Joseph Bullett on November 23, 1963 at St. Therese Catholic Church. They spent 52 years of holy matrimony together. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Parish. She graduated from Jordan High, Sandy, UT. She then attended Stevens-Henager Business School. She spent many years working in various business administrative positions. Linda was an excellent homemaker. She loved planning family events, and her attention to detail was impeccable.

She had a huge heart and an extraordinary enthusiasm for life and family. She enjoyed reading, baking, decorating, fashion, and especially traveling and dancing with her husband. However, her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, particularly her children and grandchildren. She was their biggest supporter and they brought complete joy in her life.

Survived by her husband Michael J. Bullett, sons Mike (Michelle), Ryan (Kelly), daughter Angela (Jared), mother Angie Astorga (99 years old), sisters Gwen (Dave) Nelson, Pauline (Clint) Mason, brother Paul (Joni) Astorga, all from the Salt Lake City Area. Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren: Breanna, Zachary, Garrett, Andrew, Jack, Jason, Payton, and Cameryn. Great Grandmother of one, Presley. Also, many nieces and nephews who she adored. Her gentle kind compassion for others was unsurpassed. She will be dearly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her father Paul Astorga.

Viewing at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, UT Tuesday evening (June 28th) 6:00-7:30 p.m. and 7:30-8:00 p.m. Recital of the Holy Rosary.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29th 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South Draper, UT.

Interment will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
