Our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend, Spencer Bryan Norton, returned to his Heavenly Father on May 28, 2015. Spencer was born September 12, 1999 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Bryan and Marion Norton. Prior to moving to Draper in 2009, Spencer and his family resided in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and Lumberton, New Jersey. Spencer was a student at Corner Canyon High School where he excelled at Debate, DECA, and FBLA. Spencer will forever be remembered for his quick wit, his charming smile, his irreverence, and his brilliant mind. He will also be remembered for exceptional customer service at the Golden Spoon. We would say more, but we suspect that Spencer has already lost interest with this amount of remembrance.
Spencer is survived by his parents; his siblings Abigail (Abs), John, and Grace; his grandparents Delmar and Connie Norton; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his treasured water dog Oliver (Pups McGillicuddy). His grandparents Edmund and Virginia Ginn preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2015, 11 am at the Draper South Mountain Stake Center, 1911 East Gray Fox Drive, Draper (adjacent to the Draper LDS Temple). Friends may visit at Larkin Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, on Thursday, June 4, 2015, 6 to 8 pm, and on Friday, 10 to 10:45 am at the chapel just prior to the funeral. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens. In honor of Spencer, we ask that you give someone a hug and tell him or her just how much you care about them.
