"Wow, I'm dead!" I was born January 25, 1948 to Ralph Lerdahl and Pearl Martinsen. I died of lung cancer on June 17, 2015. Now I'm with God and family members who preceded me. I had a great life! I worked very hard in restaurants and bakeries from 1965 to 1990. In 1989 I went to Beauty College and became an electologist. I had my own business in hair removal from 1991 to 2014.
Survived by my sister Carolyn Holt and husband Gordon Holt. Preceded in death by my parents, brother Ronnie and sister Lucille Erickson and niece Crelly Holt.
Special thanks to my special clients who asked for help, advice or just a moment of comfort. I'll never forget all you have taught me and brought to my life by inviting me into yours. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank my sister Carolyn and Gordon Holt and my parents who were special spirits. I love you all dearly. A Special thanks to Mike Kelsey my best buddy and Lory Bemis a great friend. Thanks to Shelly, Codi , Terry and Billy for their love and support. I give unconditional love to my nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:30 AM in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery (2350 E 1300 S., Salt Lake City). Kathy was such a special and wonderful professional. I think of her every holiday season because it wasn’t Christmas without her tin of cookies!
I was her longest-running client. Old fashioned electrolysis was the best for my skin. She helped me feel beautiful. I hope she’s running around with all her beloveds.
