Lomani Tiesa Foliaki Fetu\uaho Paku

Our beloved Lomani Tiesa Foliaki Fetu\uaho Paku, age 72 of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away July 30, 2017 at 4:13 a.m. in her home surrounded by her daughter Ana Siosi, niece Pueki Iongi, granddaughters Lavinia Na\a, Loisi, Ilisapesi and Ofa.

Lomani was born on March 27, 1945 in Ha\ano, Ha\apai Tonga and is the daughter of Mele Saõ and Viliami Aholelei. She was later adopted to Sioeli Latu Fetu\uaho and Fane Laumanu Siu Ki Moana Fetu\uaho, where they later had three children of their own (Lolohea, Tevita Fetu\u, and Akosita) They were all sealed in the New Zealand Temple afterwards.

She attended Queen Salote College in Tongatapu, Tonga. She later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and married the love of her life Lote Moala Paku. She was the mother of 2 daughters, Akosita Mateitalo Soane (Russell) and Ana Siosi Anisi (Sioi) and is survived by her only granddaughter Unaloto. Lomani Tongamana and Lote Leka Lautaimi was also considered as one of her own.

Lomani was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as a second counselor in the Cannon 2nd Ward Young Womens. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to many extended children.

She was a very hard working woman. She retired at the age of 69 from Sky Chef after working 30 years. Her favorite hobby was crocheting. She loved being around family, especially the kids.

Mom, your softspoken, loving, selfless, warm welcoming smile will never be forgotten. Until we meet again. Ofa lahi atu!

Services for family and friends will be held Friday August 4, 2017 from 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Bishops program from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary 3688 W. 12600 S. Riverton, Utah 84065. Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates at 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Taylorsville, Utah 84123.
