Jack passed away after battling different illnesses, Thursday morning at his home. He lived a long, happy life. His family meant everything to him. His body was tired and just gave out. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Hugh Burnside and Arta Burleigh Burnside on April 23, 1936.
He is preceded in death by both parents, wife of 45 years, Betty Jean Burnside, 63, 2 daughters: Jackie Lynn, 49, and Arta Jean, 45; and brother, Hugh Burnside. Jack is survived by 1 great-grandson, Bently Jack Sowby, 3, 3 grandchildren: Whitney Sowby, 31, Zachary Bryce Sowby, 26, and Benjamin Franklin Burnside, 25; and 1 son, Michael Sean Burnside, 58.
He can now join the love of his life, Betty Jean, his wife of 45 years. A visitation to pay your respects will be held Friday January 18, 2019 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah.
