Victoria Lynn Valiant, age 52, passed away on September 30, 2016 due to complications from a stroke while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 31, 1963 to Robert Valiant and Lelia Lowen. She was the first of five children. Throughout her life she had a vibrant personality and a deep love for her family. She was always very social and had an innate gift for making friends easily. She was also very giving and would go out of her way to help another in need. She always had an interest in law enforcement and worked for CBI Security for most of her career. She loved to sew and crochet and made hundreds of beautiful pieces for family and friends. She also had a beautiful singing voice and loved to sing whenever the chance arose. She married Neil Glad, with whom she had four of her five children before they later divorced.
She is survived by her parents, her brothers, Robert Valiant (Nicole) and Lowell Valiant (Kulwinder), her sisters Rebecca Valiant (Luis) and Kathryn Kuhlman, her children Tiffany Barker (Lee), James Glad, Kenneth Glad, Michael Glad and Jessica Glad and her nine grandchildren Annastasia, Chloe, Teri, Delilah, Ashtyn, Avery, Oakley, Blakely and Tyler and another granddaughter on the way. The family would like to thank the kind staff at the University of Utah Hospital who took such great care of her. A memorial will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 Dimple Dell Rd. Sandy, UT) onTuesday October 4, 2016 at 11 a.m.
