Mark was a brave, kind, caring, compassionate gentleman. He touched the lives of all that he met. Mark lived life with great enthusiasm and joy. His beautiful blue eyes were the windows to his incredible soul. When he met his life partner, friend and husband, Chet Gritzmacher in February 2000, they lived a life full of adventure and traveled across the globe. Mark enjoyed his employment at the Utah State Tax Commission where he made many dear friends. He loved his "Goose" his dream car, in it he braved the great off road adventure in Moab. Mark was the first to offer his incredible skills with all electronic devices, it came naturally to him. Mark had angels that were here when cancer made it most difficult. Judy, Lisa, Mark, Betsy and Aunty "Y" were the angels who always gave him joy. Our medical friends at the Huntsman Cancer Institute where there for Mark and Chet every step of the way.
Mark is the youngest of five children born to Gerald and Lenora Pochurek.
Private funeral services will be held. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life that will be held on Sunday June 15th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. at the Memorial House in Memory Grove Park, 485 No. Canyon Rd. (120 East) SLC.
