SAN DIEGO -- Thelma Jackson Scott passed away peacefully on December 14th, 2013 in San Diego, California, at the age of 90. Thelma was born in 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Clarence and Erma Jackson. In 1943, she was married to her beloved husband, Bob, whom along with their oldest son Robert, predeceased her in death. The most important thing in Thelma\s life was her family. Known as \"Aunt Thelma\", \"Thellie\", and also \"Thelm\" by those who loved her, she was always generous with her time and enjoyed laughing with others. Her ability to always smile and remain positive in the face of adversity or loss was an inspiration to her many relatives and friends who also loved her for her wisdom and no-nonsense advice. She was a die-hard Charger and Padres fan, and those who love her will greatly miss her, but take comfort knowing she is once again with Bob and Robert.
She is survived by her son Jeff, daughter-in-law Sara, grandchildren Justin and Natalie, her husband Jeff Morris, and her one-month old great granddaughter Mabel, who she was able to hold in her arms before she passed.
Funeral services will begin at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the services.
