Chase Richards our beloved son, husband, brother, father, uncle and friend died peacefully of natural causes on April 5, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Chase lived an extraordinary life. His heart was as big as the world around us. He attended Jordan High School where he excelled in all sports being named All State in basketball and track. He graduated from Montana State University in 2012 and was a member of their basketball team playing alongside his brother Preston in the N.C.A.A. tournament.
After graduation he served a mission for his Savior in the New York Utica Mission from 2012 ‚ 2013. He loved his mission and the people he served. Chase was an "extraordinary" missionary. Chase married his sweetheart, Jenna Dredge in the Salt Lake Temple on September 6, 2014 and their son Jack was born August 6, 2015. Chase loved "Baby Jack" so very much. Chase touched many lives with his big time personality, wit, kindness and love. He wore his personality on his sleeve and would do "anything" for "anyone". His heart was gold.
He is survived by his eternal wife Jenna, his beloved son Jack, his father and mother Doug and Kerry, his brothers, Lance (Aubrey), Jason (Charlotte), Tyler (Heather) and Preston -his sidekick- (Aubrey), his sister Laura Miner (Jared) and 15 nieces and nephews who he adored.
Chase accomplished so very much in his short time on earth . . . probably because he ran so fast! Chase will be sorely missed.
Yes Chase, as you would often say, "You were (and still are) kind of a big deal!!"
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Sandy Crescent Ridge Stake Center, 1265 East 11000 South. Viewings will be held on Friday, April 8 from 6:00 ‚ 8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church.
