Jacqueline Olson passed away peacefully on November 17th, 2024, with her daughters by her side.

She was born Oct. 30, 1950 in Salt Lake City, UT to John and Dorothy Olson . She retired from the VA hospital after 22 years and loved all the vets and took pride in serving them.

She loved gardening and was always proud of her many flowers and her love for birds. She loved camping at Cherry Hill with the whole family and had many generations of family memories.

Her most recent trip was with her daughters to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone where she went river rafting which was a check off her bucket list.

She loved her cat Clyde. He was by her side for 17 years. She was very close to her daughters and loved spending time with them. Jackie was close to her mom Dorothy who passed away in 2004 and missed her everyday and it brings comfort to know the two are reunited.

Jackie is survived by her three daughters Shauna Hansen (Renee), Michelle Hansen (Shannon), Melinda Bouck (Adam), three grandchildren Kaylin, Nicholas, Ashton, four great-grandchildren, her brothers Warren (Joann) Olson and Wayne (Karen) Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents John & Dorothy Olson.

Following the graveside a celebration of life will take place from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at The Chateau at Le Jardin located on the same property at 1910 Dimple Dell Rd, Sandy, UT 84092.

It's so hard to say goodbye to a wonderful friend. Jackie and I have been friends since we were around 5 years old. She was always kind and friendly. We had a lot
of fun when we got together. She was so proud of her children and loved them deeply. When her grandchildren came she was so happy and loved them so much. I will have you in heart forever my friend.
