James Angus “Jim” Kelley, age 89, passed away on January 27, 2024. Jim was born February 24, 1934, in Delta, Utah to Hugh and Lila Fisher Kelley. He married Maureen Warburton on October 17, 1956.
He joined the Army on May 13, 1956, and served until May 3, 1958. He worked for Boyles Bros Drilling Company, Christensen Diamond, and Atlas Copco for fifty-five years. Jim had a wonderful life, traveling all over the world for both work and pleasure.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Kelley and Lila Fisher Kelley, son Gregory Samuel, sisters: Coral Jean Huddleston, Margaret White, and Joyce Marie Stapley. He is survived by his wife Maureen, son Michael Hugh, grandchildren: Emerald, Alexa, Clayton, and Rhiannon, and sister Pauline Bowser.
Memorial services will be held indoors at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. You may watch a recording of the service online using the "Watch Service" button above.
