James Douglas Moore

James Douglas Moore, 46, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 12, 2026. He was born in Ogden, Utah to Vicki Hoffenbeck. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School and later moved to Salt Lake City for employment opportunities. He especially enjoyed his job as a printing pressman.

James was a very kind person and loved animals. He took care of the many community cats in his neighborhood. He also loved music and was an excellent, self-taught classical guitarist. James enjoyed camping in the high Uinta Mountains at Little Lyman Lake.

He is survived by his mother, his brother David, uncle Eddie, aunt Robin, cousin Patrik, niece Lila, and nephew Finn. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie and Arlene Hoffenbeck, who he loved and missed so very much.

Rest in Peace Dear James. You will always be in our hearts.
