He graduated from Belen High in Belen, New Mexico. He faithfully served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the St. Paul/ Minneapolis Minnesota mission. He served in many callings in the church over the years.

Jason was a long-haul truck driver for many years. He enjoyed trucking with his co-pilot and brother (O.J.). He also enjoyed the adventures of trucking when he could include his parents and the rest of his siblings.

Jason had a deep love for the outdoors and loved to fish. He also had a deep love for his family and his country.

Even though distance kept us from spending much time with Jason over the last few years, he still held a special place in our hearts. What a sweet spirit. Our hearts and prayers are with you all. Jason is reunited with his dad and grandparents. 🩷

Stewart and I have been blessed to know Jason. He was always very respectful and kind to us. A few years ago, at his request, Stewart gave him a blessing in the hospital. He was honored to share that spiritual occasion. Even though he was in pain and really sick, he had his sense of humor! May all of Gods blessings pour out in abundance to you all .

Love, Stewart and Heidi Shelline
