Jason Robert Jeppson passed away on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 due to natural causes. He was 44 years old.
Jason was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 14, 1978 to Robert and April Jeppson.

He has always been known as the gentle giant, and truly genuine. His love for his family and friends was priceless. He treated everyone equal, and had the most amazing sense of humor. He was the first to tell a joke, or make some smart comment, or quick come back, that has everyone laughing. We will all miss his “teddy bear” hugs.

He followed his passion and became a truck driver at multiple companies including, Meadow Gold and Pride Transport. He loved driving, and told many stories of being over the road. Although his driving career was cut short due to an injury, this allowed him to spend more time with his dad at their family-owned business, The Redwood Lounge, where he made numerous friends he called family, and obtained one of many nick names “Patch”. This is also where he met the love of his life, Tiffany, whom he married May 1, 2015.

Jason loved life, and had an adrenaline for speed, and adventure. He loved his Harley, and many other activities including camping, riding, golfing, fishing, BBQing, and being involved in his kids sports and cheer. His kids were his greatest joy! He was an avid sports fan, and you could always hear him cheering on The Miami Dolphins, Utah Utes, Chicago Cubs, and Utah Jazz.

Jason is survived by his wife, Tiffany and children Gavyn, Ellie and Jason Jr. Father: Robert (Shannon). Mother: April. Siblings: Adam (April), Andrew, Valerie, Josh (Tonya), Andy (Lindsay). Special mother figure, Ginger and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends whom he will be greatly missed by.

A viewing will be held Tuesday October 18, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake City. The grave side services will be held Thursday October 20, 2022 at 1pm at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South. Redwood Rd. In honor of Jason, wear your favorite Harley, or sports team shirt.

Bob and Val I apologize for not making it to the services. Parents should not have to bury their children. There's probably nothing more difficult in life. Hang in there only time has a way of healing broken hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I’m not entirely sure you or anyone remember me. I am Charitilynn Durrer’s daughter. Anyways, today while sitting at work the job I’ve always dreamed of, Jason’s name popped into my head. I Google searched him, it’s been so long since I’ve seen him and I wanted to ask him questions.. I seen this and my heart sank. A man who cared for me when I was just little. Who was at my dads funeral, a really great man is gone.
I’m so sorry for your loss. He was truly an amazing man.
