Jax CJ Steimle, age 2 months, passed peacefully in the arms of his parents and was surrounded by family at Primary Children's Hospital on August 1, 2021. His life was a gift to the world that will live on as his heart valves were donated to another baby in need.

Jax was born on May 28, 2021, via emergency c-section at just 31 weeks due to his mother experiencing complications from contracting covid-19. He came into this world weighing only 3 pounds 12 ounces and defied all odds in his 37 days stay in the neonatal intensive care unit. Jax fought hard to come into this world and even harder to stay but unfortunately was taken by SIDS.

Jax is the only child of Jonathan Steimle and Morgan Butler of Salt Lake City, UT. He is the blessing his whole family needed, and they are all so grateful for the short time they had with him.

Our baby Jax enjoyed listening to The Beatles, snuggling with mom and dad, and looking at himself in the mirror. He is loved so deeply by us and we miss him so much. Jax will forever be our greatest adventure together.

A viewing will be held at Larkin Mortuary Downtown on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 1pm through 4pm.
