Listen to Obituary

It is with tremendous sadness that we share the passing of Jazmine Roxburgh, a beloved sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend, who left this world on April 6, 2026, at the young age of 34.

Born on December 27, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jazmine’s life was a testament to caring for others, finding beauty in everyday moments, and bringing light into the lives of those around her.

Jazmine was the beloved daughter of Rock M. Roxburgh and Heather G. Roxburgh, and the cherished daughter of her birth mother, Cheri Roxburgh, whom she lost at the age of four. She brought incredible joy to their lives from the moment she was born. Jazmine’s legacy will continue to shine through those she has left behind.

As a young girl, Jazmine loved spending time with her two younger sisters, Paige and Britteny. You could often find her being the amazing big sister she was, caring for and loving them in all the ways big sisters do. The three of them could often be found coloring, playing cards, playing school (or “teacher,” as Jaz called it), playing board games, or enjoying neighborhood games outside. She also loved spending time in Island Park and Lake Powell on family trips over the years, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

As an adult, Jazmine became an incredible aunt to her nieces and nephew, and was often found being a kid again, playing and laughing with them, bringing a special, childlike energy that made her stand out in the most beautiful way. That love didn’t stop there. On November 4, 2015, Jazmine became a proud fur mom to Mazy, who quickly became her best friend and constant companion, giving her unconditional love and companionship.

Jazmine enjoyed spending time with family, especially going fishing and turkey hunting with her dad, who was her hero. She loved boating, hiking, hunting, taking outdoor walks with Mazy, cooking with her mom, who she always said helped shape her into the hardworking, giving woman she became, and even as an adult, playing cards and enjoying family game nights. Jazmine also generously volunteered her time creating beautiful trees for the Festival of Trees.

Jazmine was an exceptionally dedicated and hardworking woman who devoted more than 12 years to the Huntsman Cancer Institute as a Certified Medical Assistant. She was deeply committed to her patients' care, always making others feel comforted, valued, and never alone. Jazmine expressed her love through thoughtful acts of kindness and small, meaningful gifts. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her generosity, empathy, and extraordinary heart.

Her absence will be felt by the many lives she impacted in such a positive and beautiful way. She will be missed so dearly.

Jazmine is survived by her father and mother, Rock and Heather Roxburgh; her sisters, Paige Wilkinson and Britteny Roxburgh; her nieces, Adeline and Ivy; her nephew, Axton; her grandparents, Merry Dawn and Mike Johnson, Cress Gibson, and Dan Elton; her loving aunts, uncles, and many beloved cousins; along with extended family and friends who loved her deeply. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cheri Roxburgh; and her grandparents, Don and Marilyn Roxburgh, and Carol Elton.

A celebration honoring the life of Jazmine will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will take place prior from 10:00-11:30 AM at the same location. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the beautiful life of a truly loved woman who touched the lives of so many. The service will be livestreamed via Zoom and can be accessed by clicking the "Watch Services" button above.
