Jennifer Tran Ng was born on June 26, 1985 and grew up in Sandy, Utah. She’s survived by her parents (Kit Hing Ng and Nguyet Ng), two younger sisters (Kristy and Celena), and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins. We lost Jen at the young age of 36 after an intense year battling cancer. She was lovingly known by her family and friends as Jen, Jenny, and Nenny.

Jen was a care-free spirit who easily made friends wherever she went. If you had the privilege of being in her circle, you knew you were always welcome in her home. She showered those she loved with kindness, generosity, and compassion.

Above all else, she prioritized family. No matter what she had going on, she went out of her way to attend plays, recitals, soccer games, and was always prepared with snacks. Jen had a knack for making everyone feel well taken care of. She loved bringing the family together by hosting dinners and made a shrimp scampi that we’ll never be able to reproduce.

Jen had two dogs, Dexter and Griffin, which she loved more than anything in the world. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to travel to more than 15 countries across North America, Asia and Europe. Her favorite thing to do while traveling was exploring a new city, discovering new food and getting lost in art museums. She was also an avid reader who never left home without multiple books.

A memorial service and gathering will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E S Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84111, from 10:30AM - 11:30AM. Service will be followed by interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Since the first day in 2010 at Flat Iron Mesa park, Jen and her family accepted me into their circle. Jen has always been a sweet and loving person. There is not a person in the world that would have anything negative to say about Jen. Jen invited me to many family holidays and social events throughout the years which I happily attended. She was a great cook, kind person, and amazing soul. She has been a good friend, and we frequently called each other family.

Jen happily went out of her way to take care of me and anyone she met. I will miss her and will eternally remember her appetite for life, her laughter, and her smile.

Dearest family and friends of our beloved Jen,

It is with great sadness and heartache that I send you this message.

I feel very privileged and honored to have been part of Jen´s journey at Maggie Sottero . I remember the day she took over our account and Phoung said: " Is my niece treating you right? Is she tacking care of all your needs, If not let me know and I will get on her butt!" My response was: " Phoung, she is doing a GREAT job I am thrilled she took over our account."

Jen was the best of the best and the sweetest of the sweet a combination of intelligence, discipline and amiability I have never seen in anyone else. She responded in a matter of minutes, not days.

I remember a common subject of ours was our pets and I am sure Dexter and Griffin will get all the love that Jen gave them, from all of you!...It breaks my heart to know that mommy is gone.

I know is hard to let go but we have to believe she is in a better place and remember she is no longer suffering.

Dear Phoung; I send the strongest hug possible, I will continue to pray for Jen and each and everyone of you.

Love ya,
Migdalia

Dear family of Jen,
My most sincere condolences. Jen was my daughter’s friend in Junior High. What a joy it was to have her around my house. She was full of life and was always kind to everyone. We loved that we could still see her even after we moved to Bountiful in 2000. Jen will always have a place in my heart as one of the best friends my daughter could have had. 💔

Van and Jeewon Vuong are dear friends of ours, and we had the opportunity to hang out with Jen on a couple of occasions. I wanted to share that while we didn’t know Jen well, we will never forget her warmth and welcome to us as newcomers to the party. It was truly unforgettable. She was striking, magnetic, and special and it shone through instantaneously. She impacted us and didn’t even know it. I’m sure there are countless other imprints she has left both large and seemingly small. I regret not knowing her better. We send our deepest condolences to her family.

My deepest condolences to Jen's family and close group of friends. Knowing Jenn and working with her for 15 years has brought great joy into my heart and all the Retailers
she has touched. Her kindness and empathy for another person's situation was always driven by love. Her abilities to always see the positive and then cocreate a
positive outcome to ensure growth and expansion for the highest good of each person and the situation was a gift she shared with everyone she met. She has touched so many lives and enriched our collective connections to each other. She will be greatly missed by us all. She was a brilliant irreplaceable light of love!
