Celebration of Life

Le Jardin, 1910 E 10600 S, Sandy, Utah
Mar 21, 2024 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Our beautiful JP was taken from us unexpectedly on Saturday, February 24th at the age of 36. He is survived by his daughter, wife, brothers, sisters… the truth is that he is survived by so many family members that there is no possible way to name them all. And there is no way to decipher between family and friends, because anyone in his life was considered true family to him and he was a man that not only said, but proved that he would do anything for any and all of them.

JP was a true angel, put here on earth for so many. He had so much knowledge and wisdom to share and used it all for the sole purpose to help others. He was the epitome of a person that would literally give someone the shirt off of his back even if he needed it just as much as them. Because he never felt like he needed it more, he never wanted to see anyone struggle and held everyone close to his heart.

His dream in life was to open a company that not only helped people, but also hired people that felt that there was no next step in life or felt as lost as he once felt. He achieved that dream when he opened Threshold Billing Solutions. He was such a humble person, but his intelligence, perseverance, and love were unmatched by anything that most of us have ever seen. The obstacles he overcame seemed insurmountable, but he found a way to overcome and help others along the way. His passion and love spread like wildfire over anyone that crossed his path, and it didn’t hurt that he had the most contagious smile.

On the weekends, you could find him outside hosting a BBQ for his loved ones, and anyone else in search of human connection and friendship. Christmas was always crab and prime rib on the Traeger. He loved anything that brought others together, and those that knew him also know that he was always looking for any excuse to use his Traeger so it was always a win win for all of us.

He loved spending time with his daughter, and making her laugh endlessly. He loved his wife, Elly, and he loved Hawaii where they would visit family. If you happen to find yourself on a shoreline watching the waves and catch a glimpse of a beautiful Sea Turtle, think of JP’s beautiful soul out there swimming and keeping an eye on his loved ones. We will love you always and forever JP, and we know that it will be an amazing celebration when we all meet again.

JP’s celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 21st at the Larkin Mortuary Sandy location within the Le Jardin Gazebo from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is open to anyone and everyone that would like to join us, just as he would have wanted it. Please remember to be kind to one another, love openly and honestly, and keep people close to your heart.

“As I got older, I realized that there were no real winners
And there were no real losers in physiological warfare
But there were victims and there were students
It wasn't David versus Goliath, it was a pendulum
Eternally swaying from the dark to the light
And the more intensely that the light shone, the darker the shadow it cast
It was never really a battle for me to win, it was an eternal dance
And like a dance, the more rigid I became, the harder it got
The more I cursed my clumsy footsteps, the more I struggled
So I got older and I learned to relax
And I learned to soften and that dance got easier
It is this eternal dance that separates human beings
From angels, from demons, from gods
And I must not forget, we must not forget
That we are human beings”

I am deeply sorry on his loss. JP was a remarkable business person whose legacy will continue to inspire many.

Elly - Please accept my sincere condolences, and may you find strength and comfort in cherished memories during this challenging time.

His kindness, generosity, and leadership qualities likely left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered, making him beloved and respected within his business circles and beyond.

While his passing is undoubtedly a loss for the business world, it's his personal qualities and the positive influence he had on others that will be remembered most fondly. May his memory continue to inspire and uplift those who had the privilege of knowing him.

May the soul of the dearly departed rest in eternal peace.

He was always my dear sweet JP I met him when he was 17 years old He was currently living in Roosevelt at the time. We formed a friendship that was more of a mother son relationship. JP was someone that I believe God directly brought into my life. He knew I loved him unconditionally JP touched so many hearts and lives. He truly was a special person I will rejoice when I see his beautiful soul again. Until then the world has a very empty spot for me. I love you JP and I am sending love to his daughter and loved ones ♥️
