James E. Cooper

James E. Cooper, beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather died peacefully at home on Saturday, February 15, 2014 of natural causes. He was born in Knoxville, TN on March 7, 1935 to Earlie Clyde and Mabel Marie Cooper.

Veteran of the Korean War, computer programmer at Hill Air Force Base, and patriarch of a large family, he will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosalie King Cooper, seven daughters, five sons, 64 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, one sister and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salt Lake Tenth Ward, 410 South 800 East. A viewing will be held Thursday, February 20, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to services on Friday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the same location. Online condolences may be made at www.larkincares.com
