  • Our beloved mother, wife, sister, and daughter, Jill Amanda Dalley Stephenson, was suddenly taken from us on August 7, 2021. She was born to James Michael “Mike” Dalley (deceased) and Joyce Pauline Hailes on June 7, 1986, in Billings, MT. Right off the bat she almost went home from the hospital with the wrong family. She was born early, which was the only time she wasn’t late for something. She was very modest about being super smart as she earned Straight A’s and graduated as valedictorian of her high school and graduated with honors and summa cum laude at college, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
She enjoyed being a stay at home mom, and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and watching them grow. Jill had the ability to lighten the mood and was never at a loss for witty humor, always getting a good chuckle from the room. We will always remember her humor, kindness, charm, and perfect clothes, big hair and make-up. There will forever be holes in our hearts from the pieces she has taken with her.
Jill is survived by her husband, Gentry Stephenson, and her legacy lives on in her four children: Pierce Eckley (14), Scarlett Eckley (11), Oliver Eckley (6), Winona Stephenson (3) and three step-children: Temperance (9), Henry (6), Sophia (5). She is also survived by her siblings: Catie (Jeff) Baker, Amy Parry (Dillon Cox), Jake (Lynsie) Parry, Kari (Cory) Smith, Jolene (Scott) Waters and Jamie Hanf. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21 at 11:00 am at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 So.), Sandy, with a viewing from 9:30-10:45 prior to the services. Interment to follow service in Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Jill's sudden death. I haven't had contact with her since she lived in Hurricane, but I absolutely adored Jill and her spunk. I loved all her creative ideas for her house and how passionate she was about her kids. I remember how much fun she had in dressing Scarlet up.

I hope she is at peace. Love to all of you who are mourning her beautiful spirit.
