Daddy,
I miss the sound of your voice every day. I miss our shopping and lunch dates and seeing who had the newest pair of shoes. I miss your amazing hugs and your stories about life. Everyone always tells me how strong I am, I just have to smile and say, my dad taught me that! Being weak isn’t an option! I will continue your legacy and make you proud. To me you are still here. You are woven into everything I am and everything I do. I am our memory keeper and no one can take that away!!

Jim, you are my super hero! Getting that nasty "C" word diagnosis is never an easy pill to swallow! Something I know a little about. You have demonstrated nothing but strength and courage all these years as you were dealing with all the various side affects of this desease! I thank you for giving me the strength to continue with my own battle! Lots of love! May you rest in Peace!

There are those who sit back and watch things happen, those who wonder what happened, and those that make things happen. Thanks for all the things you've made. The love, the laughs, the memories, the skills, the quality of life and the example of what the Pierce spirit is...I love you dad!

Jim and I had many conversation doing family history. He was amazing on putting family history together, was always so helpful. I am so happy that God let him stay on this earth as long as he did to be with family, rather in a small circle or the bigger one he found. Thank you for all your help. May God keep you and your family in his care, tell you are together again. RIP
