Joan M. Bailey

Joan M. Bailey AKA: Arizona Rose, age 66, passed away February 5, 2023, in St. George, Utah. She was born May 4, 1956, in Plattsburgh, New York, to Albert Walter and Theresa Marie Anderson Venne. She married Wesley C. Bailey on February 14, 1988.

Joan worked in various occupations throughout her life, including those as a financial service representative and dental assistant. She loved her volunteer work at the hospital and donated many blankets and Teddy bears to the hospital to give to kids for comfort. Joan had a passion for sewing and crafting with fabric. She also served as president of the Lions Club.

Joan loved a good laugh and loved to collect hugs and smiles at the cowboy action shoots she and her husband participated in.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Bailey, her mother Theresa M. Venne Cary, her father A. Walter Venne, her sister Ann Marie Venne, and her brother Lawrence Venne.

Funeral services for Joan will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the Larkin Mortuary – Riverton Chapel, located 3688 West 12600 South in Riverton, Utah. A viewing will occur prior to services beginning at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow in the Redwood Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum in West Jordan, Utah.
