John McWalt Chapman passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2025. He was a devoted father who loved his sons immensely and showed that in everything he did. Known for his infectious laughter, endless jokes and contagious smile, Johnny had an undeniable ability to make everyone feel joy and welcomed in any room he walked into. He touched many lives with his compassion and willingness to serve others in need. He was a passionate and avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles through every season.
His sudden departure has left a profound void in the hearts of all those who knew him and will be greatly missed!
He leaves behind his sons Easton and Braxton, his mother, Kathy and sisters, Jen and Gabby (Merrill). He was an adored uncle to Taedon, Treyson, Monroe, and Lennon.
Till we see you again…FLY JOHNNY FLY!
We love you!
Guestbook/Condolences
My heart goes out to the family. I know words can’t take away the hurt you’re feeling. Sending love and strength in this time of loss. “I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.” —Leo Buscaglia
See you again old friend..go eagles....
I still can't believe that wonderful John is gone. He was a huge part of our family, starting in his high-school years. He had all of the attributes of a good man- kind, strong, polite, and when he was around it was like sunshine. I know he loved his family so much! I miss you, John. Till we meet again.
