Graveside Service
Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, Utah 84092Tuesday Jul 30, 2024 10:00 AM
John was a loving family man that would do anything to help anyone out. He loved teasing everyone and making people laugh. He enjoyed classic cars, and most music from big band to Elvis. He had a great love for all animals and the animals all loved him back. He would have adopted all of them if he could have. He enjoyed bowling and could have gone pro but did not want to leave his family to go on tour. He started several small businesses and was successful in paving his own career path. He enjoyed the mountains, fishing, camping, and taking adventurous detours when traveling. If there was a road less traveled, he would take it. Happy trails to you, we wish you love and peace on your best adventure yet.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandson. He will be missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his dogs. We appreciate all the care from his doctors throughout the years.
In keeping with John’s wishes there will only be a graveside service with casual attire. The service will be held on Tuesday, July 30th at 10:00 AM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, Utah 84092. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to your local animal shelter or the Humane Society of Utah.
Guestbook/Condolences
John will be missed in the Wilkins family for sure. He made his imprint on all the family for sure. Setting them up to be successful in life. The times I got to speak with him he always was smiling and wanting to help others out as well. Till we meet again.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Uncle John
You will be missed by all who knew you. I have some very fond memories of the billiards that you and Aunt Judy owned. As well as childhood memories staying at your house with my cousins when I was young. May God be with your family during this hard time in their lives. I love you all
