Joseph Hugh Rosander

1938 ~ 2022

Joseph “Joe” Hugh Rosander, loved father and friend, was born on August 17, 1938. He was an amazing man who proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He loved hiking, fishing, camping, and everything to do with the outdoors. He had a beautiful tenor voice and would often use his talent to enrich others around him. He was always willing to help others. If something needed to be done, he was always one of the first to respond. He had a very generous heart.

He passed away on February 17, 2022 of natural causes. He is survived by his brother Robert Alvey, daughters Pam (Tim) Giblette, Kristy (Ezra) Pedersen, and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Wesley Charles Rosander and his parents Erma Wood, John Alvey and Joseph Morris Rosander.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, March 28, 2022 at the Utah State Veterans Memorial Park located at 17111 South Camp Williams Rd in Bluffdale Utah. A memorial luncheon will be served following the service at 4845 South Woodhaven Drive in Taylorsville Utah. We invite anyone who would like to attend the luncheon to please join us.

Special thanks to Barbara Lanier. Thank you for everything you have done. These last years have been made better because of you. Words are not enough but they are all I have. Thank you for everything!
