  • Our loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 16, 2020. The son of Blaine Karl Ludwig and Kimberly Ann Johnstun. Josh was born on January 6, 1979 in Salt Lake City.

Josh’s greatest love in life was his wife and children along with all his family. He spent lots of time outdoors with the ones he loved the most. Some of his hobbies included shooting, camping, and boating. And if you ever played corn hole you wanted to be his partner. He had a passion for traveling the world, and love of music. He would go anywhere to see a great concert. You could always find Josh wrestling with the kids, playing hide and seek or leading the pack in mischief. He was everyone’s best friend, and he had the ability to make everyone feel like they were his favorite.

Josh is survived by his wife Felissia, his children Austin and Hunter. His stepmom Pam Ludwig. His siblings Andrea Westergard (Eric), Jeremy McGill, Robert Wageman (Lydia) and Brittney Ludwig. Honorary siblings are Jason Ludwig (Jeanine) and Nickie Gillmor (Ed). His Grandmothers Alice Johnstun and Deanna Taylor. Many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Blaine Ludwig and Kimberly Johnstun. His Grandpas Jim Johnstun and Richard Ludwig. His sister Erin Wageman.

Friends and family are welcome to a public viewing being held on Tuesday December 22, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Larkin Mortuary (260 East South Temple). Due to COVID-19 restrictions on Wednesday December 23, 2020 we will be having private services at 1:00pm but can be viewed via Zoom here: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83100624770?pwd=aU5WUXdXY21INU1CU0FyUWtHU3gyUT09

Felissia, Austin and Hunter - I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss Josh was a special person and I’m so heartbroken for all of you. I’m thinking of you, praying for you, grieving with you and sending my love.

Felissia - the love you and Josh had for each other was so inspiring so pure and genuine. He was your everything and you were his. He was so funny, was a light in this sometime dark and heavy world and wanted to make sure that everyone around was having a fun time. My teenage years were some of the fondest of my life and I a lot of that time with spent with you and Josh.

Remember it’s okay to have bad days because it reminds you how much you love them and the good days remind you they’re right there with you.
