Joshua Michael Collett passed away in his sleep August 2, 2021, in West Valley City, Utah. He was born November 8, 1980, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Michael Charles Collett and Peggy Dimond Archuleta. Josh grew up in Salt Lake City and was the youngest of three boys.

He loved football! Playing for Kearns High School and spending his Sundays watching the NFL. Later, passing his skills to his nephew Jared. Jared then passed it on to his nephews, Thomas and Juliun. Being born into a die-hard 49ers family and 40 years later dying a San Francisco faithful.
He shared other interests with his own children. Jen, Josh, Jason, Shay, and Kenz are all hard-core gamers baby!!

Josh married Jennifer Lynn Moulton on October 5, 2005, in Highland, Utah. July 2006, Jason Patrick would be the first of three and their only boy. October 2008, they welcomed Shay Lynn and August 2013 Kendall J would complete their little family.

Josh is survived by his wife, Jen and their three children, Jason, Shay, and Kendall. He is also survived by his big brother Jeff Collett, niece: Jamie Collett, nephew: Jarred Collett. His mother: Peggy Archuleta, half siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his father: Michael Charles Collett, his big brother: Jason Dimond Collett, and his grandparents.

Josh will be missed by so many people and remembered for his goofy sense of humor. He loved his family and was so proud of his kids. We can be comforted knowing that he is happy and healthy again. Remember he is not gone, he’s with you all the time. Josh, your kids know you love them and know you will watch over them as they live their lives. We will never forget your big hugs, dorky laugh, and that awesome smile. We love you Josh.

We will announce a date and time of services later. The family is asking for donations to help pay for the funeral services. Contact Jen (801) 347-2483 if you’d like to help. Thank you!
