Ann was born on January 4th, 1950, to Richard and Joyce (Henrichsen) Garrick. She was the oldest of 4 girls.

She loved riding horses as her family raised Arabian Horses. Her love of gardening came from spending time with her grandparents. She would always talk about how special they were and how she wished that her children had been able to spend time with them.

She met the love of her life, Harold “Craig” Hathenbruck, while attending Olympus High School. They were married in February of 1969. They had three children. Michelle, Sonya and Mike. All of whom she loved with all her heart.

She spent most of her adult life living with her family in Lehi, where she made many amazing friends.

Ann was an amazing seamstress. She could sew anything that could be made with a needle and thread. She could also knit and crochet. She started a small business called Ann’s Clown’s and later changed the name to Ann’s Creations. Seemed more fitting as many people brought ideas to her because they most likely needed something custom made and could not find what they wanted. Usually, it was something that consisted of multiple patterns and designs.

Ann was a lover of all animals great and small. This is something that she shared with her husband Craig. There was not a time that can ever be remembered when Ann did not have a pet of some kind. One of her favorites was her parrot, Morgan. Not all of us were a fan of Morgan but she loved him. I believe that Morgan’s favorite word was “CRAIG!!”. If you know you know.

Ann is survived by her children Michelle (Cathy), Sonya and Mike (Cristin); her grandchildren CJ, Michaela, Mason and Cadence; and one great-granddaughter Olivia Ann. She is also survived by her sister Vickie Garrick.

Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband Harold Craig Hathenbruck; her parents Richard and Joyce Garrick; and sisters Debbie Garrick and Christine Laird.

Viewing will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 31st at Larkin Mortuary Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South, Riverton, UT. Graveside services will be held at Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd., Bluffdale, UT at 1:00 pm on the same day.
