My mom was an amazing human being! She left this world Saturday August 24th 2024. She had family with her when she passed and was not alone. I know they helped ease her way to the other side. Thank you from my heart for being there for mom in her last moments of this life. Thank you to all her friends and family who kept in contact and made her life so full of love. Thank you everyone for all your kind words and loving arms. She loves you all so much! I know because she would often call me at 1am and tell me so… over and over again. She was so outgoing and made friends everywhere she went. She was one of the best people I’ve ever known with her kindness and giving nature. She was also a spit fire and wouldn’t hesitate to put you in your place if you needed it. She caused mischief on occasion, the kind that left you laughing mostly at yourself. Whenever I looked at my mom, I always wanted to be a better person. And she always had faith in you that you would be. She had a rough life. And it made her stronger and kinder for it. My mom’s only real issue in her life was worrying too much about others and not enough about herself. I know she has peace now and doesn’t have to worry about anything anymore. But if I’m being really honest here, I’m pretty sure she’ll find something to worry about over there. More than likely us, still left over here. My last words to you in life were “ Thank you for being my mom, I love you “ I could not have asked for a better mom. You are amazing and thank you! You made this world a nicer place while you were here. This world is a bit darker without your spark in it. But it’s your time now. Go have you a grand adventure mom! Happy trails!

A viewing will be held Thursday August 29, 2024 from 9:00 am until 11:00am at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South. Graveside services will follow at 11:15 at the cemetery.
