    Judith “Judy” Christiansen, 80, passed away on July 8, 2021. She was born in Salt Lake City on April 3, 1941 to Helen and Howard Mattingly.

    Judy loved her family and spending time with them. Judy was a caregiver by nature, and she always loved and welcomed everyone. She enjoyed the beauty of plants and flowers as well as watching hummingbirds in nature. Judy liked celebrating every holiday throughout the year and was big on decorating her home every month to match the holiday or season of the month.

    She is survived by her children, Lori Lowham (Neville), Mike Christiansen (Kathy), Sherry Hoffman (Jim), Jennifer Spencer (John); brothers, Dean Mattingly, Reid Mattingly and Steve Mattingly; 13 grandkids, 24 great-grandkids and 4 great-great-grandkids. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Helen Mattingly; brothers, Howard Mattingly and Harold Mattingly; daughter, Debra Guzman; granddaughter, Kimberly Hankins and great grandkid, Tabatha Harvey.

    Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 So.). A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 prior to the service at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, located at the same address. Following the graveside service, a luncheon will be held from 12:00-2:00 pm in the Chateau at the Rose Shop, 1910 E. Dimple Dell Rd (across the parking lot from the mortuary).
