Justin Albert McArthur passed away on May 10, 2023 after a brief fight against cancer. He was the son of Lynn & Brenda McArthur and was born on July 27, 1978 in Salt Lake City, UT. He spent his childhood years in Manti, UT, and moved to Sandy, UT as a teen. After graduating high school, and getting his CDL, he moved to Winnemucca, NV in 1999. There, he worked in the gold mines as an equipment operator for the past 23 years. He met the love of his life, Crystal Jordan, in 2005, and they were married on March 4, 2011. During their time together he gained two bonus sons, Matthew and Nathan Cahill, and had two more children. Jace was born on March 16, 2007, and Jayla was born October 24, 2008. Justin’s kids were the light of his life and meant the world to him. He also loved the outdoors, whether it was camping, boating, riding his Razor, or just going to the shooting range with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal; two bonus sons, Matthew and Nathan Cahill; his birth children, Jace and Jayla McArthur; one brother, Brandon (Diane) McArthur; two sisters, Tiffannie (Travis) Mabery and Staci (Sean) Carr; 7 nieces and 5 nephews; as well as lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bryan & Leora McArthur; Dee & Darlene Edmunds; and his parents, Lynn & Brenda McArthur.
An open house, to celebrate his life, will be held on June 10, 2023, at his home, 6370 Kolar Ct, Winnemucca, NV, from 11 AM-4PM.
