Bernita (Bee) Emily Richins Schoenfeld passed away peacefully at the age of 101, on October 2, 2013, with family by her side. Bee was born in Etna, Utah on March 7, 1912, to George Robert Richins and Mabel Richarda Warburton. She was one of seven children.
Bee met the love of her life, Gordon, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They were together for 61 years. They had 3 children: Joy, Robert and Donald (who died at birth). Bee attended LDS Business School, which prepared her for her 32-year career with General Motors. Bee loved music and was active in many organizations, including serving as President of the Utah Federation of Music. Some of her passions were modeling, camping, boating, entertaining, bowling, quilting, and gardening.
Bee is survived by her daughter Joy Goodfellow, son Robert Schoenfeld, 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren as well as great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings.
