Nola was born in Preston, Idaho on October 8, 1928 to David Emanuel and Annie Davis. She attended Preston High School and later Weber State University. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in which she served in the North Central States mission. Following she met the man of her dreams, Charles R. Hobbs and they were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Logan, Utah temple. She served in many church callings including two additional missions with her husband. She is survived by her sister-in-laws Rebecca Hernandez Hobbs (Odell) and Charlene Hobbs (Jack Richards).

Nola was preceded in death by her parents, David Emanuel and Annie Davis, 5 siblings; David, Dora Davis Porter, Paul (Eva), Homer (Tenney), and Blaine (Dorothy). She is now embraced in the loving arms of her loved ones who have gone on before.
