Kaden David Lowther

2001 ~ 2022

Service:

Jan. 15, 2022
4:00 PM
3688 West 12600 South, Riverton, Utah 84065

We lost our dear sweet son, brother, grandson and friend Kaden David Lowther on January 4, 2022. Kaden was born on February 26, 2001, along with his twin sister Breanna Lowther. Ryan and Laura Lowther were lucky enough to adopt them soon after and then add their brother Skyler to the family in 2011.

Kaden grew up in Draper, UT, went to Corner Canyon High School and later attended Salt Lake Community College. Kaden enjoyed music, movies, video games, animals, scuba diving, and reading books but most of all spending time with his friends.

Kaden’s influence will leave a hole in so many hearts. He was the nicest and sweetest person we knew. Always there to lend a hand, provide support, bring people together or just be a quiet friend. He cared so much for others more than himself.

Sweet Kaden rest in peace. Your heart can stop hurting. We all love you more than you could have ever known. We will miss your kindness, dry sense of humor and the love you gave everyone.

Due to the current Covid-19 health mandates and by request of the family in an effort to keep all friends and family healthy, face masks will be required during the services.

We will be celebrating and remembering Kaden's life on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Larkin Mortuary of Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South in Riverton, Utah. We will gather as friends, family, and all who knew Kaden from 4-5:30pm to share stories with one another and enjoy the impact he had on so many of our lives. A short Celebration of Life service will follow beginning at 5:30pm.

Kaden. I truly cannot find the words to make this feel real. Meeting Kaden and having the opportunity to be a part of his life was nothing less than spectacular. To have the chance to learn about his life and childhood and to become friends with not only Kaden but his loving family has been the greatest gift I could ever ask for. To see the love and support of the Lowthers is what really sets them apart from everyone else. This loss is tragic to many and Kaden will live in our hearts for eternity. To Laura, Ryan, Sky and Bre I love you and thank you for what you have done and for the chance I had to meet your amazing son. Love nick mallory

Dear Lowther family,
Kaden was Ian’s first friend when we moved to Draper when they were in 5th grade. I was so grateful for his kindness. He made Ian feel like he belonged. And through the years he was always such a reliable friend. He was so respectful and fun and I will always be grateful for how much love Kaden and your family show to Ian and our family. My heart breaks for your loss and just now you’ll see him again.

- Melissa Tibbitts

I moved to Draper right before my senior year. I didn’t have any friends the first half of the year because I didn’t want them. I happened to meet Kaden while we both worked at Little Caesar’s. He was the first friend I made in the whole state, and him introducing me and genuinely including me into the friend group is something that I’ll always be grateful for and have him to thank. All my love goes out to his family

- Alan Barrera

Kaden was a great friend of mine throughout high school. We had gym class together and a couple other classes. We became great friends. He was an amazing person I’ll miss him. What makes me sad, is that I never got to hangout with him after graduation. Rest In Peace Kaden I’ll miss you. Thank you for all the great memories.

To the Lowther family,

I feel so fortunate to have grown up alongside Kaden and your family for many years. Some of my favorite childhood memories include playing with Kaden, Breanna, and Skyler and walking over to your house whenever I could. I cherish the moments we had together and I will always remember how kind and spirited he was. I love your family deeply and I am sending my prayers. Kaden will be forever loved.

Dear Lowther Family,

I am so sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you. I met Kaden through Breanna, and although I did not know him well, he was truly one of the kindest people I have met. I remember he would bring pizza home and always share with Breanna and I. He was such a giving person and truly made an effort to make others feel included. Kaden, you will truly be missed.

- Alysa Gribben

My heart is broken. Kaden holds such a special place in my heart and there are countless memories that will forever remind me of his kindness and amazing personality.
When I moved to Draper for my exchange year, Kaden and his friends immediately welcomed me to their friend group and we quickly became best friends. I keep thinking back to the many times we drove around, sang along to funny songs or just laughed for hours and hours. Kaden was so nice to me and always made me feel valued, he never failed to make me laugh and cheer me up.
Looking back at all the pictures, videos and memories I have of him, I came along one of my journal entries from October 28, 2018: “Kaden is so hilarious! We went to a Halloween store and he tried on the funniest outfits, he didn’t care what others thought about him. I love that boy, seriously, his character is so unique, he is just the funniest guy.” His sense of humor was just one of the many things that made Kaden so special. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know him and spend some of the best times of my life with him.
Kaden, you are so loved and you will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything, words cannot describe how much you impacted my life.
All my love goes out to his family. You raised a fantastic young man who always made sure everyone was taken care of.

- Gina Schowe

Growing up with Kaden and the Lowther’s was truly an honor. Kaden is such a kind and loving friend, student, brother, and son. I have always looked up to Kaden for his sweet soul and hard work ethic. I remember always passing the Lowther’s house and seeing Kaden mowing the lawn. I am glad I had the pleasure of being Kadens neighbor as we grew up. Kaden has a big heart, and he will remain in all of our hearts. Rest In Peace Kaden, you are loved and missed.

Something in life I will never understand, May God be with you and your family during this very difficult time.
Although I did not know Kaden, I understand the disbelief, and confusion and the pain that you are feeling.
It is a common saying that time heals all wounds. I have found that only applies to some situations. And the loss of a loved one, no amount of time will ever take away the pain we will carry. I am so sorry for your loss.
