Kalli Marie Bevan Reese, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister passed away Thursday, August 1st, 2024 after a brave battle with appendiceal cancer.
She was born July 6th, 1983 to Bruce and Kathy Bevan in Salt Lake City, Utah. She came home to three excited big sisters who became her closest lifelong friends. At age four she became a big sister to her one brother and the family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. She had a very happy childhood playing imagination games, barbies and running homemade obstacle courses.
In 1995 her family moved back to Utah where she attended junior high and high school graduating from Alta High School in 2001. She spent a year at Utah State University and graduated from Salt Lake Community College. During college she worked at Modern Display where she met Andy Reese. Her older sister thought Kalli would never find anyone good enough for her but Andy proved her sister wrong as they were a perfect match. They were married and sealed for time and eternity on January 2nd, 2004 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Kalli and Andy built a home of happiness, hard work and service. They added three beautiful children to their family. Elli Ann Reese born on Kalli’s 24th birthday in 2007. Avery Marie Reese born in 2010 and Drew Bevan Reese born in 2013.
Kalli loved being a wife and mother. Her home is one of love and happiness. She was the ultimate soccer mom, often stepping up to be a team mom. She supported her kids in all their activities, events and games. Kalli’s laid back personality made her a favorite person to be around. She was a great seamstress and made beautiful handmade gifts for her nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader and she loved being outside swimming and hiking. Her favorite time of the year was the month of July. Kalli had a great sense of humor and was known for her April Fool’s Day pranks. She enjoyed her yearly trips to Island Park, Bear Lake and Disneyland with her extended family and in-laws.
She was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as a Relief Society President, Stake Girls Camp Director and in various positions in the Primary.
Kalli was a beautiful soul and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. She was the best of us.
She is survived by her husband Andy, her children Elli, Avery and Drew. Her parents Bruce and Kathy and siblings Kara (Chris) Traveller, Jenny (Brad) Wade, Brooke (Matt) Dennis and Jesse (Kelsey) Bevan. Her in-laws Jeff and Eva Reese and their children Ryan (Caryn) Reese, Jenny (Easton) Wade and Alex (McKel) Reese. Along with her 24 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sweet niece Lily Bevan and her grandparents.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the Huntsman Cancer Institute for their care, concern and treatment over the last several months.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at the Eagle Mountain Stake Center, 2977 East Saddle Rock Road, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. I worked with Andy for nearly 8 years when he was working for M2 Logistics. I was based in Green Bay but had the pleasure of meeting Kalli on a couple of occasions on visits to Salt lake City. As described, I remember a very 'happy, positive, energy boosting" vibe that was contagious. That is a true gift and so needed in today's world.
Andy & Kids- my deepest condolences and prayer's during this time. I am so saddened by your loss.

Dear Reese Family ~ I wanted to add my condolences for the passing on of your beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. Kalli was so beloved here at Hidden Hollow Elementary as an intelligent, hard-working and generous aide. I had the privilege of working with her and my sixth grade students benefited immensely from her kind instruction and helpful learning aid. I was always appreciative of how easy, cooperative and friendly our working relationship was. I considered her a friend as well as an esteemed colleague. I know that you all are missing her great presence, love and that smile! Our Heavenly Father is watching, protecting and supporting you all. I will continue to pray for your dear family. ~ Lori Ingram Vliet

Andy - my friend,
I am so sorry for your loss, this was absolutely gut-wrenching to learn. I know that you have an amazing network of family and friends that will support you and lift your family up in prayer. I was only able to meet Kalli once while we were in Mesquite at a soccer tournament, go figure?!?! Her light shined bright and she was so sweet.
Wishing you and your family courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to hold in your hearts forever.
Our best,
Tim, Amy and Ethan Thomas
We met Kalli and the Reese family through some mutual softball friends of ours. Elli played Junior Jazz basketball with our softball team/girls several years ago. Sending all the love to your family. You are all in our hearts. -The McDermaids

Reese Family we are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Kelli was such a light in our ward and neighborhood and will be dearly missed.
The saddest news ever. Kalli was such a sweet person and was so loving to everyone. My heart goes out to the family.
I am saddened to hear of Kalli's passing. She has so much to live for. I am newly diagnosed with a rare appendiceal cancer myself and could hardly sleep last night after reading her obituary. I live in Lehi Utah and would like to know more about her illness and treatment. My FB page is listed as Julie McWhirk Ladle, if anyone is able to reach out. Bless your family. I'm so sorry for your loss.
