Kalynn Sandra Evans

2018 ~ 2022

Kalynn Sandra Evans passed away, at the age of four years old, on September 23, 2022 in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Kalynn was born in Orem, Utah on May 23, 2018, to parents Kristine Morin and Daniel Evans.

She was a joy to her family, who will deeply miss everything about her, especially her cuddles and her charismatic, caring and affectionate personality. Playing barbies with her best friend, Kali, dressing up as a princess, reading “That’s Not My Unicorn” or watching ”A for Adlee'' or the “Elsa and Anna Show”, as she called it, were some of her favorite things to do.

Kalynn loved playing in the dirt, picking flowers for her parents and being in nature while on trips to the cabin. She will be remembered for giving lots of hugs and for her sassiness. During her toddler years, she insisted her name was “Baby”. She even made up nicknames for siblings: Hayden “Nay Nay”, Elayna “Lulu” abd Jaxson “Jagiman”. Kalynn enjoyed shopping, especially for her favorite treats like juice, bananas, chips and corn dogs (with lots of mustard). Kalynn had a few favorite songs she would sing, including “Let it Go”, the “ABCDE” song and “Everything at Once”.

Kaylynn is survived by her parents, Tina and Daniel; siblings Sirius Trandler, Daverik Trandler, Hayden Morin, Elaina Evans and Jaxson Evans; grandparents Carol Evans, Peter Trandler and Layne Evans; great-grandmother, Micky Evans. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Sandra Trandler and her uncle, Peter Trandler.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the LDS church, 4142 Lake Mountain Road in Eagle Mountain. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral services beginning at 10AM. Interment to immediately follow at the Eagle Mountain City Cemetery. A luncheon will then take place for the family and close friends back at the church.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. I lost my son to suicide 9/27/22 . I was struggling to write the obituary and I clicked on your little girls for guidance. My heart just hurts for your family and I hope you can find peace . I don’t know you but I feel like I do from sharing a sad experience of losing a child . Much love!
