Guestbook/Condolences

K.C. was always so good to me while they lived next-door when Kyra and I were younger. She was great at making me feel like part of the family; she comforted me but would also tell me when I was being overdramatic - while still making me feel loved. Kyra I know the special bond you had with your mom and I know that she is watching over you and the rest of the family. I'm so happy that she was able to meet your lil dude. I hope her and your dad are enjoying their reunion. ((Hugs))

My very sincere condolences to all of her family and friends. I was lucky enough to meet K.C. through her daughter Beth. I enjoyed every conversation we had and I still treasure the books she gave me when she found out about some of my academic interests. I know she was dearly loved and will be very missed.

I was KC’s executive secretary at the Utah State Library 2004-2007. We became fast friends. KC shared many stories from her life with me over the years and her biggest joy was her 5 girls. KC was brilliant and extremely witty and sarcastic. I loved her sense of humor. She stood for truth, fairness and never backed down if it was “the right thing to do”. I adored KC and kept in touch with her after her retirement. I just found out today she passed away and wanted to let all who loved her know how sorry I am. Love to her family
