Deloris Kay Owens passed away on January 27, 2021. She was born on September 25, 1940 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Lawrence and Hazel Beldon.
Kay enjoyed spending time with friends and family and had a great love for those close to her. She had a strong bond with animals and had many pets throughout her life. Those who knew her were always privileged to experience her sense of humor and great care for those she loved. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her three children, Kimberly (Gregory) Klappauf, David (Mary) Owens, and John (Cambria) Owens; Eight grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Smith, Sarah (Steven Becker) Klappauf, Michael Klappauf, Matthew Owens, Emily Owens, Colby (Jessica) Henry, Caley Henry, and Tierney Owens; and two great-grandchildren, Cora Becker and Adeline Becker.
A private family memorial service will be held in Kay’s honor at a later date.
I am so sorry to read this. I met Kay when we worked at Mass Mutual many years ago. She became good friends with my sister Nancye Gulli and so I got to see her after we all left Mass Mutual. She had a great personality and sense of humor. She will be missed.
